Bareweek is a local-first weekly planner for iPad. We built it to stay out of your way — including when it comes to your data.
What we collect
Bareweek stores your weekly drawings and settings on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not operate a Bareweek cloud sync service that receives your handwriting. To make Search work, Bareweek reads your handwriting on your iPad using Apple's on-device text recognition and keeps the resulting text in a local index; none of it is sent to us or anyone else.
If you purchase Bareweek Pro, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. Purchase status is verified on your device via StoreKit — Bareweek does not run a backend that receives your purchase records or payment card details.
You can export a week image or an editable backup of all weeks from Settings through the system share sheet. You choose where to save or share it, including Files, Photos (for images), or a storage provider you select. Those providers handle files under their own privacy policies. Bareweek does not upload your ink or backups to our servers. Backup and restore are manual; there is no automatic cloud sync.
Ink backups contain weekly drawings and page layout metadata. They do not include paper photos, appearance preferences or purchase records. Restore adds missing weeks and preserves existing pages. If you choose a photo as paper, the app stores a resized copy locally on your iPad.
Analytics & tracking
Bareweek does not include third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell personal information. We do not use your notes or drawings to train AI models.
This website
The Bareweek marketing site may be hosted by a provider that collects standard server logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to profile you.
